    The Maritime College football team landed four student-athletes on the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) All-Academic Team. Christian Castle, Michael Korwan, Liam McManus, and Justin Snuffer all earned the honor from the ECFC in an announcement by the conference Tuesday afternoon.

    On Friday, the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its Division III Football All-ECAC Teams for the 2018 season. Following a season which included a bowl game appearance, a second-place finish in the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) and an overall record of 7-4, the Maritime Privateers football were well represented throughout the list of ECAC honorees.

    After a strong 2018 campaign, the Maritime College football team landed multiple players in post-season all-star games. This past week, Curtis Smith took part in the National Bowl in Daytona Beach, while Thomas Wright, Matthew Mavrovich, Nicholas Acevedo, and Elijah Bryant will be participating in upcoming all-star games.

    USA Football announced Vincent DiGaetano, will serve as a presenter at its 2019 National Conference. The largest annual gathering of high school and youth football leaders in the country will unite more than 1,500 high school and youth coaches and athletic administrators Feb. 22-24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
