Gallaudet, Vollmar featured in D3football.com story
MINNEAPOLIS - The strong start to the 2009 season by the Gallaudet University football team has helped to garner national media attention. This week the Bison are featured on the D3football.com Web site as the headline story and the lead in the Northeast Around the Region article.
D3football.com, the definitive source for NCAA Division III football news and scores, uses reporters throughout the country to cover various regions. Northeast Region reporter Tom Haley, also a sportswriter for the Rutland Herald (Vt.), saw Gallaudet firsthand last week when the Bison defeated Castleton State, 49-18, in an Eastern Collegiate Football Conference showdown.

The Bison return home for four consecutive games at Hotchkiss Field. GU will begin the extended home stand against ECFC foe Husson University (2-1, 1-0 ECFC) on Saturday, October 3, at 12 p.m.
