Eastern Collegiate Football Conference Unveils League Mark

At the close of its inaugural season, the Eastern Collegiate
Football Conference has unveiled a conference logo in addition to a
redesign of the conference's website www.easterncollegiatefootball.com.
The mark, created by the graphic design company AragonPeralta, was approved by
the ECFC leadership following several months of work by the
Athletic Directors council.
The mark is a simple but sleek design, with the ECFC word mark on
top of a football. The eight stitches of the football represent the
eight founding members of the Conference. Below the football, the
conference name "Eastern Collegiate Football Conference" highlights
the conference's focus on the collegiate experience.
The NCAA Division III single sport football conference consists of
eight colleges and universities spanning from Bangor, Maine to
Washington D.C. The conference, named after the geographic location
of the institutions, began competition in the fall of 2009.
ECFC institutions are Anna Maria College (Paxton, Mass.), Becker
College (Leicester, Mass.), Castleton State College (Castleton,
Vt.), Gallaudet University (Washington, D.C.), Husson University
(Bangor, Maine), Maritime College State University of New York
(Throggs Neck, N.Y.), Mount Ida College (Newton, Mass.), and
Norwich University (Northfield, Vt.).
