Trai Weaver returns for his senior season with Anna Maria after logging over 1,100 receiving yards in 30 career games.
Senior offensive lineman Eric Decker is a three-time All-ECFC selection. He anchored a Castleton line that surrendered only 16 sacks in 2016.
Sam VanValkenburg played nine games in his freshman campaign with Alfred State in 2016. The Pioneer offense averaged over 240 yards per game in 2016.
Head Coach Gabby Price has posted an 85.7 winning percentage at Husson over the past four seasons (best in the ECFC).
Josh Burris returns to patrol the secondary for his senior season at SUNY Maritime. The DB had six breakups last season and also added a pick six.
Louie Akuffo leads all Gallaudet returners after racking up 47 tackles in 2016. He also added 5 tackles for loss.
Despite only playing in six games in 2016, Brendan Carter led all Dean rushers with 313 yards (averaging over 50 yds/gm).
The Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) was founded in 2009 by eight member institutions. Mount Ida College was one of the league's founding members with the Mustangs capruting one league crown since the league's formation.
Castleton University returns quarterback Mitch Caron for the 2017 season. Caron ranked second in passing yards in the ECFC last season despite playing only 8 games. He also tossed 12 touchdown passes for the Spartans.
Brandon Davis returns to the Pioneers after notching 99 tackles in 2016. His 99 stops ranked second on the team and leads all Alfred State returners.
